Construction Project Manager at Nacka Municipality

About us

The Construction Project Management Unit is responsible for ensuring the implementation competence needed in Nacka Municipality's traffic and property processes. Our mission is to lead and coordinate the implementation of the investments decided by the municipal council and the nature and traffic committee.

We work to strengthen effective project management throughout the process and ensure that time, finances, and results are monitored and managed in a structured and transparent manner. An important part of our responsibility is to report status updates and deviations in the investment portfolios to the municipal council's urban development committee and to the nature and traffic committee.

We contribute implementation competence to several of the municipality's units. For the municipal council, we work through the property unit. For the nature and traffic committee, we support the traffic unit, the public outdoor environment unit, and the nature and urban environment unit. Our role is to create good conditions for investments to be implemented with quality, clarity, and long-term value for both operations and the residents of Nacka.

Your mission

As a construction project manager in Nacka Municipality, you will play a central role in shaping the future living environments. You will lead exciting and socially important investments in property, traffic, and facilities from the initial idea to final delivery.

You will have overall responsibility for planning, finances, timelines, and communication, working closely with engaged colleagues from several of the municipality's units. Together, you will drive projects that create value for both the residents of Nacka and the operations.

You ensure that each project is carried out with clarity and structure, meeting its goals with quality, sustainability, and within the approved budget.

We are looking for someone with a strong drive who thrives in a role where you can combine technical expertise with project management and collaboration. You are structured, solution-oriented, and confident in handling complex processes where many interests converge. You easily create good collaborations and see the value of working cross-functionally. Special expertise in the construction area is an advantage.

Your experience and skills

We would like you to have:

• experience in construction project management within property projects and/or infrastructure
• experience from construction or civil engineering projects, for example in land, water and sewage, or technical infrastructure
• good knowledge of contract law, including AB04, ABT06, and ABK09
• experience with AMA and MER
• knowledge of occupational safety issues and procurement regulations, including LOU
• an academic degree in construction, civil engineering, property, or a related field

It is advantageous if you have worked as a municipal client and have a good understanding of municipal governing documents, political decision-making processes, and committee organization. Experience from detailed planning processes is also considered particularly valuable.

A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement.
